Girl at SEC Visits 1800 Porn Sites While at Work

You know that one guy you work with?  The one you really think may look at a lot of porn at work?  We know you said yes. Because every office has at least one. But can you think of the girl in your office who does?  No?  Then you don't work at the Security and Exchange Commission.

You see the SEC just found one the rarest of rare creatures: the girl who surfs porn at work.

An investigation was just released that said SEC employees were basically just like employees at every other workplace in America.  They look at porn at work.  Well, to be fair, they seem look at lot of porn.  Except at the SEC, the girls do it too.

Are Kate Hudson's Breasts Bigger?

A supermodel says she's "praying over Kate's boobs." Spencer Pratt says they're still too small. Everyone's got an opinion on Kate Hudson's boobs—but are they really fake? Or is she pregnant? A photographic investigation above may help you decide.

Your friends at Gfest don't really care because regardless whether they are fake or real, her boobs are too small.  But, we'll let you decide.

Gfest Megan Fox Wet Dream of the Day

Suddenly "Jonah Hex" is the Gfest must see movie of the year.  "Transformers" and "Jennifer's Body" were our must see movies last year. We here at Gfest are seeing a pattern.

Is this Filipino Batman & Robin Movie Better Than Dark Knight?

Damn right its better! We have been waiting our whole lives for a Filipino Batman & Robin Bootleg Movie.  I mean who hasn't right? But the bizarre ending to this bootleg foreign Batman film shown below is fascinating, horrifying and impossible to turn off all at once.

The movie features an unmasked Batman and Robin singing a parody of At The Hop with Joker and Penguin. It also features a cameo by a dancing spider-little-person

"usual "suspects" team reunites for new movie

Christopher McQuarrie has worked with director Bryan Singer on a number of movies over the years, from The Usual Suspects (which won McQuarrie an Oscar) to the WWII movie Valkyrie. Now we’re hearing word that the director/writer duo will be teaming up once more for Singer’s upcoming fantasy movie, Jack the Giant Killer.

Heat Vision Blog reports the news that McQuarrie will write a new draft of Jack the Giant Killer, after previous drafts were written by the likes of Mark Bomback (Live Free of Die Hard) and Darren Lemke (Shrek Forever After).

Click below to read the draft plot of Jack the Giant Killer.

Best Grass in America

Doesn't it piss you off when you're watching a baseball game and the grass looks so damn good?  Then you look at your own yard and realize that it looks nothing like the grass at the ballpark.  Well it makes your friends at Gfest upset to (well that and the fact our favorite MLB teams are terrible).

Now that can all change with the Scotts Company release of the MLB Authentic Grass Seed Collection. The Scotts MLB Authentic Collection ($22/bag) aims to bring the lush grass of America's favorite ballparks to your own lawn, by providing you with actual grass seed varieties used at venues like Wringley Field, Fenway Park, and Great American Ball Park.

Happy Gfest Birthday to one of our Favorite Professional Women's'Tennis Players

Great Optical Illusion of The Thing from Marvel

This is the portrait of Marvel Comic’s superhero, The Thing from the Fantastic Four. The mural was drawn by Justen Ladda in the Bronx – New York.

Check out the “Side View” photos of The Thing after the jump to see how they were done. In gfest's opinion this is truly awesome, and I want to put one in the Batcave immediately.

Despite Yesterday's Announcement, Archie Comics Has Been Gay for a Long Time

Archie Comics announced Thursday that Riverdale High will enroll its first openly gay character in September.  Yet look at the cover to Betty and Me #16.  I think there's been some experimenting going on for a while now.

The new character, a blond newbie named Kevin Keller, will debut in No. 202 of Veronica Comics. In the initial story line, titled "Isn't It Bromantic?," Veronica is stymied when her womanly wiles hold no sway with Kevin, who has more in common with fellow foodie Jughead.

Who's Really Behind that Sexy Videogame Avatar?

Gfest's friends over at The Swedish Bed have done a neat photo project on videogame avatars.  We've all played a game against a user created Avatar.  But do they really reflect the person playing the game?  Often times the answer is yes:

and then in some cases, the avatar is a bit more of a fantasy:

Will Nintendo ever make an a more "Mature" Mario and Luigi game?

Some game series grow older alongside their original audience. Get darker. More "realistic". Metal Gear. Zelda. Grand Theft Auto. One series that has not done this is Mario. If it did, though, it would be awesome. As seen on DeviantART.

Disney and Pixar Announce Monsters Inc. 2

Disney is going to make another Monsters Inc. movie.  This is a pleasant surprise out of nowhere. Sure, there've been rumors and rumblings and non-denials about such a film ever since Pixar and Disney released the first one back in 2001. But until now, there was no official word on it.
Variety reports that Disney has announced the film as well as given it a release date of November 16, 2012. No other details are available beyond this simple confirmation -- not even who might be directing the project.

Kid gets LEVELED by Runaway Cow at Ohio State Campus

Two cows got loose on the Ohio State University campus as quite a crowd gathered to watch a roundup that lasted more than 90 minutes.

Police say the pair of Belted Galloway cows got away Wednesday afternoon as their owner was trying to take them into the university's veterinary medical center to have their hooves trimmed.

They made their way onto a soccer field, where one of them was lassoed as students cheered "Ole!"

Heather Locklear Arrested for Hit and Run

Heather Locklear was arrested early Saturday morning for a misdemeanor hit-and-run after she hit a no-parking sign near her home in Ventura County, Calif. and drove away from the scene, People reports. A neighbor heard the noise around 4 a.m. and when police arrived, they traced the debris back to Locklear’s black 2005 BMW.
Really?  You can be charged for a hit-and-run for hitting a freaking parking sign?  Doesn't that seem like a little bit of overkill?

Superman Sexual Abuse in US Army?

In one of the weirder stories you'll read in a while, a Fort Eustis drill sergeant was sentenced to six months in military prison after pleading guilty to a series of training transgressions including an incident in which he instructed a subordinate to dress like Superman and simulate sex acts.

In an affidavit, a soldier accused the drill sergeant of sexually assaulting him. He said he came to his sergeant complaining of depression, and that he was then instructed to dress in Spandex and pretend to be Superman, who was weakened by Kryptonite and undergoing sexual torture. The soldier said he was told that he would be photographed during these acts and threatened him if he refused to participate. Soldiers from the drill sergeant's previous unit have also said that they were told they had to be photographed shirtless and wearing spandex.

Superman and the Time Masters Looking for Bruce Wayne

Jeffrey Renaud at CBR has a wonderful interview with Dan Jurgens, author of "Death of Superman" about his newest DC series "Time Masters: Vanishing Point."

In July, DC Comics will launch "Time Masters: Vanishing Point," a six-issue miniseries that will serve as a companion piece to Grant Morrison's "Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne."

The title features Rip Hunter assembling a team of time travelers tasked with finding Batman, who has been lost in time since the final pages of "Final Crisis."

The recruitment drive went well for Rip as he has landed the services of three of the world's greatest heroes: Superman, Green Lantern and Booster Gold.

And not to add any pressure on the new Time Masters but finding Bruce Wayne will also stop Vanishing Point - the place where time ends - from tearing itself apart. gfest

Marvel Comics Next Movie Will Be.....

Where will Marvel go after they release The Avengers?  Not where we thought they would.
Marvel Studios is talking with writers and directors to work on small scale movies based on some of their third tier characters. The movies would cost in the range of 20 to 40 million dollars (very small when we're talking studio films) and would allow them to lessen the risk associated with movies based on less obvious characters.

Filmmakers are being offered their pick of characters whose names are only familiar to comic fans. Properties like Dr. Strange, Ka-Zar, Luke Cage, Dazzler and Power Pack are among the many that are being tossed around right now.

While Warner Bros is still just reving the engine of their DC Superhero movies, Marvel seems to have a plan that's going to allow them to keep ALL their characters at the forefront.

Eh, what's up, doc? Bugs and gang are back!

Cartoon Network is launching a new version of the classic Warner Bros. series "Looney Tunes."

The Looney Toons Show" will star Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, along with Yosemite Sam, Tweety, Sylvester -- the whole gang. Weirdly, the network is having each episode as a half-hour story along with "cartoons within a cartoon." The concept takes Bugs and Daffy out of the woods (awww) and puts them into the suburbs (arrrh!) with "colorful neighbors." You would think in the age of YouTube, re-embracing the show's original seven-minute short-form format would be the smart play here instead of trying for a weekly version of "Desperate Houseduck."

"Looney Tunes" will also having classic characters singing original songs in two-minute music videos called Merrie Melodies and the Road Runner and Coyote in CG shorts.

NYLON's annual Young Hollywood issue - Three's Not a Crowd

We here at Gfest have never heard of Nylon Magazine until today.  And, now we are thinking this could be the best magazine we have never seen.  Say hello to Vanessa Hudgens, Portia Doubleday and Ashley Greene, whom grace the cover this month.

You know it's a good day when you can quote the 2004 remake of "Starsky and Hutch." I think you'll agree is applicable.

Hutch: "Okay, let me ask you a question, which one do you want cause we're gonna stick to this?"
Starsky: "I've always had a thing for blondes."
Hutch: "Good, cause I'll take anything."

Happy Gfest Birthday to "Pineapple Express" Star Amber Heard

NCAA Football 11 - Woah Nelly!

That lucky, lucky dog, Nate Ahearn of ign.com had the good fortune to get hs hands on "NCAA Football 11" what he called, "the best looking entry in the NCAA Football series in a very, very long time."

While "NCAA Football 11" won't be released until July 13, you can read Nate's impressions of the game by clicking here.

Once your done reading his article, you can do what your friends at Gfest will do, go back to pouting and playing your old crummy version of NCAA Football, knowing it is completely outdated.  82 days isn't that long is it?

Netflix on Wii, XBOX and PS3 a Huge Success for Company.

Offering its services on connected video game consoles has "meaningfully" boosted video rental service Netflix's subscriber base, says Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter.
That will ultimately mean around 3 million new subscribers from all three consoles in 2010, the analyst concludes, and then 900,000-1.2 million new subscribers thereafter.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Trailer - WOW!!

It's only been a decade since Gfest last saw a new Marvel vs. Capcom fighting game -- 2000's Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes.  But, despite the wait, the long, long wait (which will be a little bit longer 2011). It's coming and it looks damn good.  So good that if you're viewing the clip below in public, you may have the same experience you did in middle school when you looked at the pretty girl next to you in class. So be careful before leaving your desk.  Just warning you.

Superhero Tees that are Super Cool

We here at Gfest love our superhero t-shirts.  It's kind of an addiction, and for the record we were wearing them well before Sheldon on "Big Bang Theory" made them popular.  So we are always on the look out for cool new t-shirts with a unique superhero theme.

We were very excited to stumble across GlennzTees during one of our web-shirting days.  Glennz's got some of the coolest t-shirt designs we have seen in a long, long time.

If for some reason you're not into the whole comic book/superhero genre (give us time and we'll convert you), GlennzTees has cool shirts for anyone's frame of mind.

Holy Cool but Overpriced Super Table Batman

Doesn't everyone need a $900 comic book inspired Super Table?  Obviously, the answer is yes.

Get it before it sells out.  Bruce Wayne, Lex Luthor, Olive Queen, Tony Stark, King Pin and Ras Al Guhl have already placed orders for one of these bad boys.

If you have an extra $900 burning a hole in your pocket and your wife and/or girlfriend is much more relaxed about interior design than your normal Gfest reader click here to purchase.

10 Real People Mini Reviews of Green Lantern #53

Real Reviews. Real People. Real Short.

Green Lantern #53 by Geoff Johns

@IanGonzales: Green Lantern #53's embrace of the new Green Lantern continuity has me just as excited as I was when I watched my first Doctor Who. So imaginative!

@SeanyComics: I can't believe this, but I think this is my first bad review ever for Green Lantern. Issue 53 was essentially an ad for upcoming DC comics

Spock Retires: Live Long and Prosper

"I’ve been doing this professionally for 60 years,” Leonard Nimoy tells the Toronto Sun. “I love the idea of going out on a positive note. I’ve had a great, great time.”

The Canadian paper talks to the man who would be Spock, who also just finished shooting his last episode of "Fringe." And the "positive note" he was talking about was last year's "Star Trek."

Nimoy may also be retiring from sci-fi and comic conventions. He will be at this weekend's Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo but says this convention appearance "could be the last go-round for that too."

And yes, he really will be going to Vulcan. Vulcan, Alberta, that is. The southern Albertan town will be graced by Nimoy's appearance on Friday, before the convention.

Your fans at Gfest say thank you Mr. Spock.

First Pictures of Josh Brolin as Jonah Hex

Your friends at Gfest are excited to see the upcoming "Jonah Hex" movie this summer, and again not just because Megan Fox plays a prostitute. Well that's not exactly true. We are really excited to see Megan Fox as a prostitute, but we are also pretty ginned to see the Jonah Hex story.

This is the first clear picture of Jonah Hex's nasty mug.

Gfest will be watching June 18 when Megan Fox, I mean "Jonah Hex" hits theaters.

The Mad Hatter would be the Sanest Person at this Tea Party

Sweet Jesus!  At first glance your friends at Gfest thought this was a new reality show on Fox.  We are actually speechless (and a tad bit scared).

Forget "Survivor", "American Idol", "Dancing with the Stars", etc., for the best 11 minutes of reality TV this season watch the video below.  To quote everyone's favorite "South Park" Dad, "They took our jobs!"

Mr. Freeze and Talia Confirmed for Arkham Aslyum 2

Thank God for small favors.  Gfest loves Talia Al Ghul.  She's gorgeous and oozes sex despite being a jealous homicidal maniac.  Oh, ya we like Freeze too.

Voice actor Maurice LaMarche, who previously voiced Brain in Animaniacs and Egon Spengler in The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, confirmed on the GeekCast Radio podcast he'll be providing the voice for Mr. Freeze in the upcoming sequel.

"Videogames is hard work, I'll say that," LaMarche said. "I've only done a handful, and I'm very lucky right now, I'm about to go in and do Mr. Freeze for Arkham Asylum 2."

LaMarche couldn't go into much detail about the character, but did say Mr. Freeze will be very, very angry.

EARTH DAY - New GE Light Bulbs to Last 17 Years

Citizens of gfest -- this is the lightbulb of the future. In the coming years and decades our lives won't be illuminated by simple spheres or coils of white. Oh no; future bulbs will have cool fins and flares that make them look almost worth the $40 to $50 we'll pay for the things. That's what GE plans to ask for its Energy Smart LED bulb when it ships sometime in the next 12 months, and while that is a lot compared to the exiting options, look at the benefits: GE's bulbs will last a whopping 17 years when used four hours a day, and they give off light in all directions -- not focused in one spot like previous designs.

Liked Only ONE Panel from Today's Justice League #44

Today's issue of Justice League of America #44 by James Robinson was just more of the same garbage that's been coming out of that book ever since Brad Meltzer's run.  It's a group of B and C list superheroes pretending to solve big problems.  Even in the Brightest Day crossover, the freakin' JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA book was given a C list superhero in Jade.

And that's why gfest LOVES Etrigan.  He sums up our frustration with the current lineup in a beautiful succinct rhyme.  And he nails it!

DC Comics to Bring Young Justice & MAD Magazine to Cartoon Network

An animated version of the DC Comics teen superteam Young Justice got its official announcement today via DC's The Source Blog and the Cartoon Network 2010 upfront previews. The show should be based on the Peter David and Todd Nauck comic of the same name.  The "Young Justice" series will feature a "junior Justice League" consisting of Superboy, Robin, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Artemis and Aqualad.

In other news, Cartoon Network also announced plans for a satirical "MAD Magazine" cartoon which will operate as an anthology-style show featuring "some familiar faces on screen and big names behind the scenes. The show will unleash MAD’s irreverent take on pop culture and today’s headlines, and feature classic characters including Alfred E. Neuman and Spy Vs. Spy. Our partners at Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network are helping DC Entertainment revitalize the cherished MAD brand across all media,” DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson told The Source.

Avatar 2 - Under the Sea

Having thoroughly explored Pandora’s ground-level flora and fauna in Avatar, director James Cameron plans to plumb the distant moon’s watery depths in the sequel. In the follow-up to his 3-D sci-fi blockbuster, which is set for DVD release on Thursday, Cameron and his team will go deep, and wet, to conjure a vision of aquatic alien life forms, according to Wired.com.
“I’m going to be focusing on the ocean on Pandora,” Cameron told the Los Angeles Times‘ Hero Complex blog.
