Is Harley Quinn Seeking Physcological Help From The Internet?

The Internet is full of weird websites and weirder people.  The latest entry?  IsItNormal.Com, where you can anonymously find out how others feel about your embarrassing or socially unacceptable situation.

Gfest has been pouring over some of the questions, and we think we found an entry from Harley Quinn.  Does anyone know how to alert Batman?  Also, I'd hate to be one of those 10 people who commented, because odds are that the Joker won't find them funny.

iPad Tricks - Embed One Into a Kitchen Cabinet

This genious found the coolest way to use the iPad that I've seen to date, although cutting a hole in your kitchen cabinet takes a serious set of balls.

The iPad is easily removeable (without unscrewing) - there is a wooden slat holding it in place is just tight enough to hold it snug. No power supply fitted yet, but the owner says that is coming soon.
The best part is that he isn't done yet.  His future plans include installing a direct power source for iPad directly into the cabinet.

This man should win the Nobel Peace Prize

Lord Jesus Christ Hit by Car - Gfest prays

Masslive is reporting that the Lord Jesus Christ was hit by a car Tuesday in Northampton, Massachusettes.

The Lord Jesus Christ was treated in the hospital for minor facial injuries

Police say a Pittsfield woman has been cited for running down a man named Lord Jesus Christ as he crossed a street in Northampton on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old man is from Belchertown. Officers checked his ID and discovered that, indeed, his legal name is Lord Jesus Christ. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor facial injuries and later released, according to the local paper.

Christ was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident, Capt. Scott Savino told the paper.

Police say 20-year-old Brittany Cantarella was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk and immediately sentenced to an enternity in hell.

Planet of the Apes Prequel Opens in 2011

Fox is confirming rumors of a Planet of the Apes prequel film, tentatively titled Rise of the Apes, and has set a June 24, 2011, release date.

Here's what Variety reported:
"Rise of the Apes" is an origins story set in present-day San Francisco. The film is a reality-based cautionary tale, where man's own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy. WETA will render, for the first time ever in the film series, photo-realistic apes rather than costumed actors."
Gfest loves all the Planet of the Apes movies, old and new.  We are excited to see the prequel and view CGI apes.  And, as long as they are going CGI route an Ape Batman may be something to consider or at least a Detective Chimp. "Take your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ape!"

Nintendo Unveils Wii Party

If you were wondering what's next to follow Wii Sports, Wii Fit and Wii Music, Nintendo provided the answer today: Wii Party.

This all new party game is being developed for Wii release some time this year, according to IGN. Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata announced it during an investors briefing in Japan earlier today. An English transcript of that briefing was posted online.

"Nintendo has not launched a marquee party game since Mario Party 8, launched in summer 2007," said Iwata during the briefing. "However, since Wii is usually being played by several people at once and the global sales of Mario Party have reached 7.6 million units, a party title has great potential. [Wii Party] is one of the titles which, we hope, will play an important role for this fiscal year."

Some Jedi's are just A-Holes

You are damn right I want a LIGHTSABER.  You know you do too.  But my midichlorian counts are pretty low today.  Probably because I did a lot of gfesting last night.

Then I realized that these these two assholes seem to have gotten in, presumably under the Anakin exemption.  Sure today they're funny pranksters, but maybe tomorrow they become Sith Lords.  Think about that.

Batman Holds a Press Conference

A classic Who's Line is it Anyway sketch where Colin Mocherie plays Batman holding a press conference.

Comedy Central Shows in the Works - For Real

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Comedy Central is set to unveil an unbelievable television slate that is sure to offend nearly everyone with a television (cue the Tea Party protest).

The network has 22 projects in the pipeline ranging from script deals to pilots, with the usual formats of animated shows, sketch comedy and talk shows represented.
A few of the pilots or scripted projects are below.

"Highdeas"
In this comedy reality show based on the Web site highdeas.com, our comedian co-hosts will explore the kind of mind-blowing questions that can only be posed by stoners.  By delving into concepts such as "white chocolate milk" and "hamster-sized rhinos," "Highdeas" will bring the highest ideas to light using a combination of field reports, prototype tests and, of course, black lights and lava lamps.  Executive produced by Embassy Row (Michael Davies, Jen Kelly and Dave O'Connor).

"JC"
A half-hour animated show about JC (Jesus Christ) wanting to escape his father's enormous shadow and to live life in NYC as a regular guy.  A lot has changed in 2000 years and he is the ultimate fish out of water.  Meanwhile his all-powerful yet apathetic father would rather be playing video games than listening to JC recount his life in the city.  JC is a playful take on religion and society with a sprinkle of dumb.  Executive produced by Reveille ("The Office"), Henrik Basin, Brian Boyle ("American Dad"), Jonathan Sjoberg and Andreas Ohman.

"A**Holes"
You know those people who cut you off in traffic, use their cell phone in the movie theater, and don't hold the door open for old ladies?  They're a**holes, and it's about time we find out what makes them tick.  "A**holes" is a scripted half-hour comedy series that tells the story of the two biggest assholes in the entire world…Jeff and Geoff.  These two twenty-something roommates spend their days scamming on girls, bilking Alzheimer's patients out of money, and generally being the opposite of model citizens.  You've never laughed harder at watching people be so bad.  "A**holes" is written and created by Steve Koren ("Saturday Night Live," "Seinfeld") and Nick Malis ("Tosh.0," "Mind of Mencia").

Hogwarts Sexiest Wizard Takes a Bath with Harry Potter

Emma Watson who plays Hermoine Granger in the HARRY POTTER films is shown taking a bath in this clip from some British TV drama.  I'm not exactly sure what Harry Potter is doing in the bathtub with her, but I can only presume he is looking for her golden snitch.

South Park Does Futurama

Gfest has always been a big fan of South Park and Futurama.  We watch South Park religiously because it is the best comedy on TV- hand down.  Yes, Seth McFarlane you heard Gfest correctly.

We still watch the reruns of Futurama for many of the same reasons and anxiously await the new series to start next month after a seven year absence.

Thanks to MooseCake at deviantART put together these awesome Futurama characters in South Park style.

McDux0r's over at YouTube put together this 30 second video of Futurama characters in South Park style. That is very enjoyable as well.

First Look at Clayface in Batman 3?

We apologize upfront.  We couldn't help ourselves.  Especially after reading an article in popcrunch about how the star of Precious, Gabourey Sidibe is apparently a HUGE (pun attended) diva.

Gfest had many, many more humorous headlines to utilize but decided to allow you good folks to post some of your own witticisms in the comment section.  We will happily post some of them on Monday along with this picture of chocolate Grimus (see we couldn't help ourselves).

First Five Pages of Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne - Early Preview

As Gfest said earlier in the week, we are huge fans of Bruce Wayne as Batman NOT Dick Grayson.  As all good disciples of Jack "The King" Kirby know Bruce Wayne has been lost in time as a result of Darkseid's Omega Sanction. He is believed dead by his closest allies with the exception of the greatest sidekick of all time, the true Robin, Tim Drake.

Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne #1 launches a special, six-issue event that chronicles the return of the original Dark Knight.  Each issue spans a different era of time and featuring the dynamic artwork of a different, A-list comic book artist.

As excited as Gfest is for this event, we have one major concern - GRANT MORRISON.  High-Father himself cannot predict how this madman will draft this series.  Gfest is afraid that by issue #6 of this series, we will feel like we did after reading Final Crisis #7 - how do I wake up from this nightmare!!

Until that time, Gfest is going to remain positive that Dan Didio and Grant Morrison will restore Bruce as Batman and restore all that is right to this world.

Enjoy the first five pages of issue #1 below.

Who Loves Hot, Sultry, Sexy Italian Women?

Well than without a doubt you will love the Italian Model, Actress and TV host, Elisabetta Canalis.  While May 6 is not Elisabetta's Gfest birthday her boyfriend George Clooney's turns 49 today.

Obviously, your friends at Gfest are not going to post a picture of George.  Not that we have anything against Mr. Clooney.  Gfest thinks he is the coolest gentleman in  Hollywood (except for that brief, sad period when he played Batman in Batman and Robin).

Your friends at Gfest are willing to forgive George for his role as Batman and post his picture today if he allows us to spend some time with Elisabetta.

Is that too much to ask on your birthday?  No reason to be selfish today, George.

The Hottest, Sexiest, Wizard at Hogwarts Part Deux!

Gfest cannot get enough of the Emma Watson, the 20 year old wizard, from the Harry Potter Movies.  Who can blame us?  She recently completed a photo shoot for Vanity Fair Magazine where she chatted about her first year in college at Brown University.

Gfest didn't even apply to Brown.  In fact, Gfest thought it was just a color until we read this article.

I should have applied myself.  I should have applied myself.  I should have applied myself.

Despite our collegiate failures, enjoy another picture of the sexy Emma Watson.

Custom Made Batman Action Figure from Arkham Asylum

Gfest has a great deal of respect for those of you able to make custom action figures.  You fill a much needed void in our fanboy hearts by giving us the hottest action figures before the big companies can.

This version of Batman for the ARKHAM ASYLUM videogame is a piece of art.  The detail is simply amazing.  It's available on eBay right now, but be warned, you won't get it cheap.

Check out the eBay auction by clicking HERE.

Dan Didio Needs to Start Acting Like a Real Businessman

Do you know who Harold Winer REALLY is?  Well according to Gfest's friends over at Scans-Daily

he's an average fan like you and me who is at time frustrated with DC Comics and Dan Didio.

Herald has apparently made Didio-bashing a profession on message boards.  He has gotten into arguments with DC Comics creators and had one say that he is well known in the DC offices, where he is regularly laughed at.

So Dan Didio who is taking a wildly unsuccessful turn as writer of The Outsiders, decided to put "Harold Winer" into his latest issue, and then he kicked the crap out of him.  Really?  That's how you treat your fans?

Batman Sets July 2012 Release Date - Funny Cartoon

The Dark Detective will protect the streets of Gotham City once again.

Warner Brothers set a July 20, 2012 release date for the third in the latest series of Batman films early Sunday.

The highly-anticipated follow-up would come four years after the release of "The Dark Knight," the block-buster sequel that earned Heath Ledger a posthumous Oscar for his twisted turn as the villainous Joker, and more than $1.3 billion worldwide.

Great Nintendo Family Tree Shirt

Once upon a time, in a small Japanese village, one of the most legendary video game systems was born.

From that point on, it has grown into one of the world's largest families of consumer electronics.  And what family doesn't have a family tree right?  Nintendo has one as well.  And its AWESOME.

Love it enough to buy it?  If so, get it HERE.

First New Shot of New Futurama Series

As you hopefully know, FUTURAMA is retuning with new episodes starting on June 24.  Comedy Central will show the first two episodes of the new season back-to-back. It's been seven years since the last new episode of FUTURAMA.  Gfest cannot wait to once again hear the gospel of Bender.

Comedy Central released a still from the first of the two episodes, titled “Rebirth” (funny and fitting), which only makes the wait until June 24 that much longer.  Can you here Gfest chanting Scruffy, Scruffy, Scruffy!

Strip Poker With the Justice League

The Justice League of America plays a friendly game of strip poker.  I like how WONDER WOMAN seems to be going the extra mile to make sure everyone at the table gets a real nice look at her boobs.

Sneak a Peak at Green Lantern Corps #43

Gfest loves GREEN LANTERN. We also love Green Lantern Corps, except for Guy Gardner, who is such a whiny little biotch!  With that said, Peter Tomasi (one of the best new writers in comics) with his wonderful prose helped me manage my anger towards Guy Gardner and allowed me to enjoy reading this title.

I am hopeful that when this new era for the GREEN LANTERN CORPS begins and Tony Bedard steps in as the book’s regular writer, joined by artist Ardian Syaf, it will continue to pacify me.  The first story arc is titled “Revolt of the Alpha Lanterns,”  Here is a page from their first issue. With? Drum roll please, Guy Freakin' Gardner.  Son of a Biotch!
