Wonder Woman and Hulk's Love Child

Looks like Wonder Woman is really changing things up lately.  First she gets the new costume from Jim Lee.  But the bigger news is that gfest has found evidence of a bastard child conceived by Wonder Woman and The Hulk.  That's certainly one of most unexpected crossovers we've seen in a while.

We're going to assume that the Thor hammer was just a gift, because the thought of Thor engaging in a threesome with these two is a little much to handle right now.

Thanks to grumpygrimone for the funny picture.

Thor Movie Concept Art Released - Includes First Look at Hammer

Concept art of Chris Hemsworth in the full Thor costume has come online today at Collider.

Of course, this is not the first time we've seen Hemsworth as Thor, but this time you get to see his lower body, and perhaps most significantly, we get to see the Norse god wielding his hammer, Mjolner. The art looks very similar to the official photo below.

'Frog Thunder' Thor/Muppets Mashup Art to Benefit Heroes Con

Talented cartoonist Robert Langridge just finished this wonderfully funny piece of art entitled, "Frog Thunder" to benefit Heroes Con.  Gfest loves the Muppets meet Thor mash-up.  Especially Gonzo as Loki.

HEROES CONVENTION was founded in 1982 by Shelton Drum, owner of Charlotte's Heroes Aren't Hard To Find comics shop. Since then the convention has become famous for its comics-first and family-friendly atmosphere, where fans can mingle directly with professionals and exhibitors.

Thor Arrested in Illinois for Failing to Register as Sexual Predator

In somewhat shocking news a local newspaper in suburban Chicago is reporting that Thor has previous convictions in Illinois of public indecency and exposing himself in public multiple times during the past several years.

State police confirmed Thor was re-arrested April 19 on charges stemming from his failure to adhere to the guidelines of the Sex Offender Registration Act. Thor was being held as of Tuesday in the Winnebago County Jail on $7,530 cash bail, according to a jail spokesman.

Seems like typical behavior from yet another God who has chosen to blatantly ignore the laws of human society.

Sneak Peak at the Thor Movie

Gfest knows Iron Man 2 opens today (under somewhat mixed reviews), but Marvel's next big movie already has many fans salivating.  The first feature film based on Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's (Gfest Lifetime Achievement Award Winner) Norse God Thor.

The movie has been on location shooting for quite sometime, but no one has been lucky enough to to get a glimpse of the characters.  Many fans have been wondering about the choice for the role of Thor, Australian actor Chris Hemsworth.

Yahoo! Movies swindled the gods and the movie studio and received the very first picture of Hemsworth in the Thor costume. Thor opens on May 6, 2011.

2011 Summer Superhero Movies

Just like peanut butter and chocolate. Cue the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Commercial, "Hey, you put your chocolate in my peanut butter. No you put your peanut butter in my chocolate."  Summer superhero movies just go together.  And Summer 2011 is going to be the apex of comic book/movie Geekdom.

Marvel Studios has their one-two combo of Thor and The First Avenger: Captain America scheduled to be released only two months apart. DC Entertainment isn't sitting around waiting for Chris Nolan to finish off his Batman trilogy; their epic space adventure Green Lantern will be released right between the two Marvel films.

So friends of Gfest, enjoy the 2010 Summer Movie season but remember it only gets better to be a comic book in 2011.  See you May 6, 2011 for Thor, June 17 for Green Lantern & July 22 for Captain America.
