Futurama's New, New York in Legos = Beautiful

As you already know, Gfest believes Futurama to be one of the best animated shows to ever grace our television sets.  Well it looks like artist Matt De Lanoy shares our love of Futurama but has a lot more skills than your friends at Gfest.  He built this mini version of New York in legos. Spending two years on this project called "World of Tomorrow", he managed to built several known building structures from Futurama, and to install lights so it can be viewable at night as well.  Enjoy all these amazing pictures below.

Futurama's Planet Express In Legos = Awesome

LEGO aficionado Pepa Quin, created this beautiful LEGO Futurama a while back , but Gfest thought with the season premiere of Futurama airing tonight on Comedy Central it was worth showing again.

As you will see in the photo gallery after the jump, the Planet Express headquarters features custom detailed minifigs of the main characters.

ESPN's Erin Andrews Hotel Sex Tape - Done in LEGOs

Somebody was in the gfest spirit when they came up with the idea of combining the now famous sex tape that exists of ESPN personality Erin Andrews with the pure fun of LEGOs.  That is certainly a unique concept.  The production quality isn't exactly up to Stephen Speilberg standards, but it's not that bad either.

It's oddly interesting, and its kind of thrill when you first get to LEGO Erin in the nude.

Blackest Night Done in LEGOs

Ulises Farinas, creator of the webcomic MOTRO for the ACT-I-VATE collective, had a series of prints available at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art Festival in New York.  The best was his rendition of Blackest Night.

Star Wars Trilogy in Legos in 2 Minutes

Who doesn't like Star Wars?  If you don't, you won't admit it because it's a crime worse than treason.

Who does like George Lucas?  If you do, you won't admit it because, it's a crime against humanity.

While the movie itself is outstanding. The writing is superb and the animation/motion is unbelievable.  What's more outstanding than the movie, is the Lego collection these folks have obtained to produce this fantastic film.

Sit back and enjoy the Star Wars Trilogy (4-6), in Legos, in two minutes without being F@&cked by George Lucas.  It's Gfest awesome.
