Harry Potter Looks Very Cute in a Bra

Look away.  I'm hideous.

Daniel Radcliffe cross dresses in a white lacy bra in this new clip from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1.  Fans of the books know that this scene actually reflects Fleur Delacour after she takes the polyjuice potion to turn into Harry!  Regardless, it must have been a lot of laughs on the set that day!!

The trailer also includes a few other smile-worthy moments, such as Ron at the ball and Harry and Hermione dancing. It's a much more lighthearted look at the film franchise's finale compared to the last trailer, which focused on Voldemort and Harry's deadly battle.

Butterbeer a Huge Success at Harry Potter Wizarding Word Theme Park - "Unofficial" Recipe Leaked

Butterbeer is the most popular food item at the new at Universal Orlando, according to Wizarding World of Harry Potter Universal spokesman Tom Schroder, with visitors lining up to try it.  Schroder said that about half the visitors to The Wizarding World sample butterbeer.
Guests describe the drink as tasting "like cream soda. It was somewhat thick, and it was really sweet, and then it got salty as you swallowed it, like butterscotch."

Travers said if he were trying to make butterbeer at home, he'd "start with a good cream soda." The hard part, he said, would be the topping: "It tastes like a Werther's caramel candy but the foam had the consistency of a dairy or latte type of foam. It's pretty dense; it floats on top."

In the Harry Potter books, butterbeer appears to have an inebriating effect, but the Universal version is nonalcoholic.  Below you can find both an alcoholic and a non-alcoholic version of the recipe.  The non-alcoholic recipe is supposedly THE recipe for butterbeer that was leaked, although Universal will not confirm that.

BUTTERBEER RECIPE

Start to finish: 1 hour (10 minutes active)
Servings: 4

•1 cup light or dark brown sugar
•2 tablespoons water
•6 tablespoon butter
•1/2 teaspoon salt
•1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar
•3/4 cup heavy cream, divided
•1/2 teaspoon rum extract
•Four 12-ounce bottles cream soda

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar and water. Bring to a gentle boil and cook, stirring often, until the mixture reads 240 F on a candy thermometer.

Stir in the butter, salt, vinegar and 1/4 cup heavy cream. Set aside to cool to room temperature.

Once the mixture has cooled, stir in the rum extract.

In a medium bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar mixture and the remaining 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Use an electric mixer to beat until just thickened, but not completely whipped, about 2 to 3 minutes.

To serve, divide the brown sugar mixture between 4 tall glasses (about 1/4 cup for each glass). Add 1/4 cup of cream soda to each glass, then stir to combine. Fill each glass nearly to the top with additional cream soda, then spoon the whipped topping over each.

Brand New Trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Wow does this look epic. Gfest loved the Harry Potter books and really got into these movies.  If you didn't, what's wrong with you?
This trailer looks simply fantastic.  But how do you feel about the line "The Motion Picture Event of a Generation."

Harry Potter Director Attached to Fables Movie

According to Collider, director David Yates (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) may be attached to helm an adaptation of Bill Willingham’s comic book series Fables.  You may remember that in December of 2008, it was reported that ABC was adapting the books for a new TV series.  For those unfamiliar with the comics, Fables centers on characters from fairy tales, myths, etc. living in New York after their homeland is overtaken by a figure known only as “The Adversary”.  Presuming this film adaptation is in the works, then I think we can assume the television version is dead.  Also, the project would be set up at Warner Bros. since they own publisher Vertigo Comics, which is a subsidiary of DC Comics. It's been awhile since any word about the tentative Fables TV series has circulated.  The last evidence that the property was still being considered for a live-action treatment was when the ABC network announced it's plans for an adaptation; but that was several years ago.

"[We've] been given fairly convincing evidence to definitively suggest that David Yates is, at least, in the mix and that a Fables movie is, at the very least, in the early stages of development, so it’s not a rumor that should be quickly dismissed...However, though the project is apparently a priority over at Warner Brothers, there’s not a writer on board yet and the potential ABC mini-series based on the graphic novel series may present either a conflict or a launching point, which assumes that ABC’s television series is going ahead. That’s not information I have available, although if DC Comics and Warner Brothers are developing a film, common sense would suggest that the series is all but dead. Best I can tell, there’s been little or no movement on the series since it was announced a year and a half ago."

Bill Willingham’s award winning Fables series follows the story of many popular fairy tale characters, such as the Big Bad Wolf, Snow White, Boy Blue, Cinderella and the Frog Prince, who are chased out of their realms (dubbed the Homelands) when an evil force called the Adversary declares war. The characters, both human and animal based, find sanctuary in our world and build a community in New York.

David Yates, who has helmed four of the Harry Potter films, has recently been linked to take over directing Peter Jackson's two-part prequel The Hobbit, since Guillermo Del Toro officially stepped down. No work yet from Warner Bros whether there is validity to this new rumor; but Fables fans should at least be happy to hear the series may not be ignored for much longer.

NEW HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS TRAILER (Part 1)

Last night during the MTV Awards, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Trailer (part I)" debuted.  Gfest is very excited to watch part one of the seventh book movie adaption which opens on November 19, 2010.  The final Harry Potter movie, Part two of "Deathly Hallows", will open on July 15, 2011.

We will have to wait to determine how the movie is split into two parts.  Hopefully, David Yates and the rest of the folks involved in the movie will leave us with a pretty good cliffhanger between part one and two.  It's been a while since the final book was released and nearly nine months between the two movies might make a two-part film difficult.

Gfest doesn't care we will be viewing both films and excited to do so (and not just because Emma Watson is in them, but that's part of it).  Enjoy the new trailer below.

Harry Potter's First Time

Gfest loves the Harry Potter books, but you know what the most unbelievable part of the book was?  The lack of sex.  All those hormones running around in a boarding school, and none of those kids are having sex?  Gfest doesn't buy it, especially in a school where Hermoine Granger is running around for heaven's sake.

Warner Brothers Green Lighting Barry Allen 'Flash' Movie

According to Gfest's friends at CBR, the corporate change-up that turned DC Comics into DC Entertainment has so far left smaller impacts on the publishing and promotion side of the long-standing comics company, most recently in the form of DC alternate world variants appearing on the Fox show "Fringe."

However, hidden in the latest Warner Brothers studio report at The Hollywood Reporter is a hint at what role DC will play in the studio's future plans in the way every fan has been waiting for: more DC movies. And apparently first up on the slate will be the fastest man alive himself.

According to Warner chairman and CEO Barry Meyer during an investor meeting, the DC Comics stable of superheroes are primed to become the studios biggest ten-tpoll farm for blockbuster movies once the WB's "Harry Potter" franchise wraps in July of 2011. First out the gate of unannounced films appears to be "The Flash" based on the Silver Age DC speedster as Meyer reportedly said they were "nearing" a green-light for the movie. Last summer, "Flash" writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns was announced as co-producer and screenwriter for a Flash film, although Meyer gave no indication if it was this script that was so near the green-lighting phase.

Next up for Warners and DC in theaters is an adaptation of Western hero "Jonah Hex" followed by "Green Lantern" on June 17, 2011 followed by the next Christopher Nolan "Batman" movie in July of 2012 and the Nolan-produced "Superman" relaunch during the 2012 holiday season. For more info on the full WB film slate including the sequel to "Sherlock Holmes" go to The Hollywood Reporter.

Toby Jones Cast as Arnim Zola in Captain America Movie

The internet is abuzz this morning that British Actor Toby Jones has been cast in his first comic book movie with Marvel Studios’ “Captain America.”

Jones is in final negotiations to portray the villainous scientist named Arnim Zola.  In comics lore, Zola was a genetic engineer who created clones and various monstrosities for Hitler. He also captured his own mental self, and inserted it into a robot.

To the world of gfest Jones is best known as the voice of Dobby the House Elf in the Harry Potter movies.

The Hottest, Sexiest, Wizard at Hogwarts Part Trois!

Gfest does not speak French.  Despite the use of Deux last week and Trois this week.  These are just a reference to the 90's movie Hot Shots, staring everybody's favorite role model, Charlie Sheen. Although, Gfest would buy the Rosetta Stone to learn French if it meant we could have a go at the French Prime Minister's wife,Carla Bruni.

Sorry Hermione always gets Gfest all flustered and off-track.  How could she not?  Just look at her.  Enjoy another, sexier picture of the luscious and captivating Emma Watson in this months Vanity Fair Magazine.

Hogwarts Sexiest Wizard Takes a Bath with Harry Potter

Emma Watson who plays Hermoine Granger in the HARRY POTTER films is shown taking a bath in this clip from some British TV drama.  I'm not exactly sure what Harry Potter is doing in the bathtub with her, but I can only presume he is looking for her golden snitch.

The Hottest, Sexiest, Wizard at Hogwarts Part Deux!

Gfest cannot get enough of the Emma Watson, the 20 year old wizard, from the Harry Potter Movies.  Who can blame us?  She recently completed a photo shoot for Vanity Fair Magazine where she chatted about her first year in college at Brown University.

Gfest didn't even apply to Brown.  In fact, Gfest thought it was just a color until we read this article.

I should have applied myself.  I should have applied myself.  I should have applied myself.

Despite our collegiate failures, enjoy another picture of the sexy Emma Watson.

The Hottest, Sexiest, Wizard at Hogwarts

One of your loyal Gfest founders, let's call him Robin, has what some psychologists would call an unhealthy obsession with Hermione Granger.  Basically, Emma Watson is to our Robin what Stephanie Brown is to Tim Drake Robin (aka Batgirl).

Admittedly, I hate the the Harry Potter movies because Hermione ends up with that British ginger looking bastard, Ron at the conclusion of the series.

Thankfully, our friend Tyler Durden at wwtdd posted some pictures of the hottest wizard at Hogwarts attending the Costume Institute Gala Monday night in New York.  Click here and head over to wwtdd for some additional pictures of this angelic wizard without having to look at the ginger too.
