New Tron: Legacy Clip of Olivia Wilde Driving a Go-Kart

Walt Disney Pictures has released this clip of Olivia Wilde (Quorra) rescuing Garrett Hedlund (Sam Flynn) and taking him for a high-speed Light Runner ride.
Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), a man once known as the world's leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the abandoned Flynn's Arcade—that could have only come from his father—he finds himself pulled into a world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of the fearless warrior Quorra (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a visually-stunning digital universe—created by Kevin himself—which has become far more advanced with never-before-imagined vehicles, weapons, and landscapes and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape.
Tron: Legacy is scheduled for release on December 17, 2010 (US and Canada).

New SKYLINE Trailer and Images Released (it looks good, real good)

Universal has released the first full trailer for its alien invasion movie Skyline and it looks damn good.  The special effects are amazing and the storyline (at least from what I have read and seen in the trailer) looks pretty damn solid. Anytime you have special effects and aliens, I'm sold!

Directed by the Brothers Strause (Alien vs. Predator: Requiem), the premise of the movie is strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

The cast consists of a bunch of folks you probably have never heard of, which may not be a bad thing.   They are Donald Faison, Eric Balfour, David Zayas, Scottie Thompson, and Brittany Daniel. (source: collider)

Fantastic New ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’ Part 1 Trailer Released

Warner Bros. has released a brand new wonderful trailer for David Yates’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. Surprisingly and to the credit of Warner Brothers, if you’re a fan of the franchise, the new trailer makes it seem like the two part finale might be the best yet, as it’s loaded with action and the footage looks epic.

Warner Brothers has done a wonderful job of marketing this film. To think this is the seventh movie in a now eight part saga and the buzz is still awesome. Most movies do not produce three good films for a trilogy let alone eight.

The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman, Rhys Ifans, Bill Nighy, and lots of other esteemed British thespians. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I opens November 19th.

NEW Robert Downey Jr. & Zach Galifianakis Movie Gets a Trailer!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint from ain't it cool news posted this trailer for DUE DATE.  The trailer is hilarious and with Galifianakis and Downey acting and a Todd Phillips (THE HANGOVER) movie you know it's got to be good.

As Quint stated in his post, "the prospect of trapping them together in a PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES type of anti-buddy road movie for a couple of hours holds so much promise."

Enjoy the trailer:

Dark Knight Meets Toy Story 2 in this Brilliant Mashup Trailer

Gfest finds trailer mashups to generally be dissapointing.  This one, which mixes footage of Toy Story 2 with the audio of the trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT, is extremelly well done.

Where this one succeeds is in the "casting" department.  Woody is the Joker, Buzz Lightyear is Batman, and T-Rex is Alfred.  It will all just seems so natural once you watch it below.

Extended 'Tron Legacy Trailer' is Better than Wearing Neon Clothes

Screen Rant assembled a new Tron Legacy trailer by remixing all the released trailers to date.
Screen Rant's Tron Legacy trailer places more of an emphasis on the relationship between Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) and his long-lost father Kevin (Jeff Bridges) than the official Tron Legacy trailer does -- quite fittingly too, since their relationship looks to be pivotal to the film’s plot as a whole.

It also offers a nice glimpse at some of the Tron Legacy characters -- including the lovely Olivia Wilde in her skin-tight, virtual suit -- and mouth-watering CGI-visuals we’ll get to eventually see in action on the big screen. Just enough so, that is, that viewers will still be left yearning for more.

A huge Gfest thanks to Mike Eisenberg and Screen Rant for this well fashioned trailer.  It will at least provide you with a little bit of a fix until we can see the real deal in 3D in December.
