AWESOME Boba Fett Poster Celebrates 30 Years of ESB

Danny Haas created this phenomenal  Boba Fett poster to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Empire Strikes Back.  His creation is gorgeous and not to mention has a very retro feel to it.  Gfest needs one of these for their office. Mondo Releases First in Series of STAR WARS Posters

Jeff Soto created this beautiful Star Wars poster entitled, "Scrap Yard Power Droid."  This limited edition (350 total) print can purchased at Mondo. 

"Star Wars was a pretty big deal for me as a kid. I was only 2 when the movie came out, and I can't even remember if I saw it or not in the theater. The characters and story were known to many of us mainly from the toys! The toys! Oh they were wonderful, and we played with them for hours (and wore out the BEST and Sears catalog)!  One of my favorite action figures was the Power Droid, and I didn't really know much about the little guy, but for some reason he (I pictured it being male for some reason) captivated my imagination. I realized at some time that he's barely even in the movie, which added to his mystique. Over the years he functioned as the worn out, floppy-legged power supply for numerous Transformers, GI Joe's and Construx. He is small and cute, and found a place in my childhood heart. I still have the little guy. This piece is an ode to the Power Droid!"

New DC Comics Promo Poster on its Way by Ivan Reis

Gfest has always been a huge fan of DC Comics promotional teaser images.  They do a brilliant job of telling you very little but teasing you sooo much.  On Friday, recently demoted co-publisher of DC Comics Dan Didio confirmed the new teaser image on his Facebook page. 

He also confirmed that one of DC Comic's superstar Blackest Night artist, Ivan Reis, will be drawing the image.  We can't wait. 

Captain America Movie Poster Revealed

According to JoBlo the first teaser poster for Captain America: The First Avenger has been revealed.  Is it the actually poster for the movie?  We will have to wait and see.

Regardless, Gfest thinks it is a well designed poster and we especially like the chinks in the shield.

New 'Splice' Move Posters Released

Gfest was blown away when we saw the trailer for "Splice" prior to the showing of "Iron Man 2".  While you never got a good glimpse of the byproduct of the 'splice' but nonetheless it looked pretty damn cool.

Finally Warner Bros recently released this very odd international posters for the upcoming film “Splice” from producer (The Hobbit, Hellboy) by director Vincenzo Natali (High Rise, Cypher) and starring Adrien Brody (Fantastic Mr. Fox) and Sarah Polley (Mr. Nobody).

After viewing these weird and disturbing posters and you have no ideas about this movie here is a brief synopsis:

Clive and Elsa are young, brilliant and ambitious. The new animal species they engineered have made them rebel superstars of the scientific world. In secret, they introduce human DNA into the experiment. The result is something that is greater than the sum of its parts: a female animal-human hybrid that may be a step up on the evolutionary ladder.
