Super Sexy Anime/Manga Halloween Costumes for 2010 (NSFW)

If you are planning to ask your favorite gal to dress-up a little different on Halloween, you may be surprised to know that there are various options to choose from in Manga/Anime genre. I'm the first to admit that I am rookie when it comes the Manga genre, but after doing a little research for this post these sexy and sizzling outfits should be on the top of your list.

The last three weeks we began our weekly Halloween feature which highlights one sexy superhero costume each week until October 31.  This week decided to go pay tribute to Manga/Anime by showing off our favorite sexy costumes from this genre.

Hopefully these costumes may provide a bit of inspiration for our lovely, beautiful and sexy female readers to wear to this Halloween.

Harry Potter Looks Very Cute in a Bra

Look away.  I'm hideous.

Daniel Radcliffe cross dresses in a white lacy bra in this new clip from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1.  Fans of the books know that this scene actually reflects Fleur Delacour after she takes the polyjuice potion to turn into Harry!  Regardless, it must have been a lot of laughs on the set that day!!

The trailer also includes a few other smile-worthy moments, such as Ron at the ball and Harry and Hermione dancing. It's a much more lighthearted look at the film franchise's finale compared to the last trailer, which focused on Voldemort and Harry's deadly battle.

Judd Winick's BARRY WEEN: BOY GENIUS One of the Best Kept Secrets in Comics

Barry Ween:  Boy Genius  follows the comical escapades of a 10-year-old boy who secretly possesses the most powerful intellect on Earth (IQ of at least 350), along with his impulsive best friend Jeremy and his crush Sara. Barry puts his genius to work primarily in creating outlandish inventions that are centuries ahead of their time, such as teleportation devices, jet-packs and wallet-sized nuclear devices. Many of the story-lines involve one of Barry's inventions going horribly wrong (usually due to Jeremy's clumsiness) and the two boys' efforts to right the situation before anyone can find out.  Barry takes great care to keep his genius a secret and maintains Jeremy as his only confidant.
My friend bought Judd Winick's book Barry Ween: Boy Genius and absolutely fell in love with the book.  I was a little skeptical when he gave it to me to read.  The premise of the book seemed unoriginal and the character of Barry Ween looked very similar to Bill Watterson's character, Calvin.

I couldn't been more wrong about Winick's book. First, Winick's art was perfect for this book.  It did resemble Bill Watterson's work in the Calvin and Hobbes but the style fit the dialogue and the characters perfectly.  After reading it, I could not imagine Barry, Jeremy, Sarah or Roxie looking any different.
Barry Ween's universe is fast-paced and profanity-laced.  Barry may have the body of a ten year boy old but he has a mouth that could make a truck driver blush or the baby Jesus cry.  Imagine Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy on HBO with Stewie Griffin uncensored and unfiltered.  Barry's lines although at times crude are funny, appropriately delivered, and contextually accurate.

Underneath the humor, weapons, fighting, profanity, machines and monsters, the underlying message in Winick's book is about loyalty, sacrifice, friendship and relationships.  Ween's universe is held together, deny it though he might, by the very randomness that he struggles against and his few bonds of friendship. After all isn't that what all our lives are about?  Regardless of your IQ.
Barry Ween: Boy Genius is wonderful book.  It's an easy read that will constantly make you laugh and leave you begging for more.  I enjoyed these characters so much, I was actually a little depressed when the story ended and I realized there aren't any more books.  The real genius is not Barry Ween but Judd Winick.

Batman Tackles His Latest Nemesis - Pussy Cats

Wait, I thought Bruce Wayne was the one who liked to play with the pussies?

I love Batman, and generally despise cats, so why is this animated GIF of Batman playing with cats so damn mesmerising?  Creating simple art is a tough thing to do, but artist Polly Guo should be commended on this one.  So simple.  So hard to look away from.

Do you think this is how Batman and Catwoman engage in foreplay?

Mattel Releases More "Mego" Type Retro DC Action Figures Including Darkseid & Black Adam

I had several Mego action figures (won't call them dolls) growing up.  If only I had not destroyed them in my  childhood.  Throwing, tying, hanging, jumping, shooting, etc. did not allow my Mego figures to stand the test of time.

Thankfully, Mego-style dolls (action figures) have experienced a resurgence thanks to Mattel's World's Greatest DC Heroes line, which has released many DC Comics heroes and villains that never saw the light of day under Mego. In addition to Captain Marvel (aka Shazam) the line will see the first appearance of Black Adam, Martian Manhunter and my personal all-time favorite character, Darkseid.

Dolls, I mean action figures never looked so AWESOME!  What DC character would you like to see become a retro figure? I'd like Ra's Al Guhl.
