Obviously this image is photoshopped but I would like to believe somewhere down south some redneck actually created this fantastic batman tractor and mows with pride.

HOW CLEVELAND CAVALIERS FANS FEEL TODAY

Below is a YouTube by Video Ryoka13x over his feelings about Lebron James leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers to play for the Miami Heat.

Ryoka13xsays, "This is my message to the King (the Traitor), LeBron James. Fuck you Miami, fuck you LeBron, and fuck the people of Miami for celebrating. Fuck all of you. LeBron is holding a party in Miami. Fuck him for throwing that party after bitch slapping everyone. Newscasters are angry, the people are angry, even his old fans are angry. Stay out of Ohio, travelers, and stay out for a while."

If you're From Cleveland or Ohio I assume this is how you sum up your feelings to someone that went on national TV to to shit all over your city.  I think they're calling it a Lebron Steamer now!

"There Will Be Brawl" - Live Action Super Smash Brothers Movie

Are you a fan of the classic Nintendo series Super Smash Bros? Then you’ll get a kick out of There Will Be Brawl. It combines classic drama with video game references to create a dark and gritty parody. You’ll be sure to find all the classic characters from the Smash Bros. games to make an appearance, as well as many others from the Nintendo universe.

The series wrapped up after ten episodes. The series has more than enough to footage provide you with some quality entertainment, providing the same quality as any HBO special. If it weren’t free on the internet, I’d definitely want this on DVD.  A synopsis of the show is below:
In a Dystopian Mushroom Kingdom, corruption and avarice reign supreme. Even the greatest heroes of the land have buckled beneath the overwhelming will of the amoral elite. When a series of grisly crimes pushes an unlikely champion to seek the truth, a mystery unfolds that could completely destroy everything he holds dear.

EXCLUSIVE TRAILER of "Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods" Documentary

A documentary about Grant Morrison has gained a distributor. The documentary is entitled "Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods."  We've said it many times on this blog Grant Morrison can WOW you and two minutes later make you feel as shitty as watching Megan Fox flush her "career" down the toilet by marrying Mr. 90210.

Despite our random Morrison editorials, we are first and foremost comic book fans.  We will watch the documentary when it is released and provide you with a our thoughts on the Scottish Alan Moore.

All signs point to it being screened at the New York Comic Con, so fans, buy your plane tickets.

Oh, ya one more thing.  SPOILER ALERT - His cat died.

Neil Gaiman's SANDMAN Character Death to Appear in ACTION COMICS #894

There's been a lot of discussion recently about whether or not Vertigo characters like Swamp Thing and John Constantine would be making the jump to the mainstream DCU, but it looks like one of the most iconic characters from the Endless family in Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" has beaten them to the punch.

Death herself is coming to the DC Universe in Paul Cornell and David Finch's "Action Comics" #894 this October, as Lex Luthor's quest for power brings him "into close proximity with characters in and beyond the far reaches of the DC Universe."  DC's The Source isn't revealing many details regarding Luthor's encounter with Death, save that his quest for power may take him well beyond the mortal coil. Whatever the case, Cornell says the story has Neil Gaiman's seal of approval, which should mean a lot to longtime "Sandman" fans.

Though the worlds of the Sandman and the DC superheroes have bled into one another from time to time, ACTION COMICS #894 marks a unique moment for not only Death, but the star of ACTION - Lex Luthor. Luthor, as fans of the series know, is in the midst of a storyline that takes him on a winding and dangerous quest for power - a quest that will bring the megalomaniacal villain into close proximity with characters in and beyond the far reaches of the DC Universe.

Here's how Cornell billed the upcoming meeting:
"Death appearing in Action Comics was my own mad idea, the extreme case of putting Luthor up against characters he's not used to dealing with."
"I'm very pleased that, after I ran the idea by him, Neil Gaiman approved me using Death in this issue. He's been very supportive. It's so interesting to see her back in the DC Universe. Though Vertigo readers can rest assured that the character, and the way she's used, will be true to the spirit of what has gone before."
ACTION COMICS #894 arrives in stores this October.

Thanks to ComicAlliance for the scoop.

Teaser Trailer Released for THE SOCIAL NETWORK (aka FACEBOOK Movie )

The teaser trailer for David Fincher’s The Social Network was just released.  Also known as “The Facebook Movie” and based off Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook – A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betryal, the film is about…the founding of Facebook…and the sex, money, genius, and betrayal that went with it.

I was lukewarm on the movie concept but the teaser does a good job of teasing as it’s comprised of lines of dialogue from the film (West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin wrote the script) , but they give you a general idea of the plot.

The movie centers on Facebook’s creator Mark Zuckerberg (played by Zombieland’s Jesse Eisenberg) and the drama surrounding the creation of the social network site that is now one of the most dominant sites on the Internet.  Hit the jump to check out the trailer.

The Social Network hits theaters on October 1st.

Mattel's 2010 Comic Con Exclusives

SDCC 2010 is almost here.  While we all wait anxiously for the panels, discussions, tributes, etc we do have the opportunity to satisfy some of our SDCC needs immediately.  Toys! Toys! Toys!  SDCC has many, many beautiful and unique toys this year.   Let's feed our comic con need by looking at a few of Mattels limited edition 2010 San Diego Comic Con Exclusives.  Many of these beauties will be available in limited amounts online after the convention through MattyCollector.com, though some of them have accessories that can only be had a Comic-Con.

Masters of the Universe Classics: Color Changing Orko, with Prince Adam
For the more traditional He-Man fans out there (and don’t be misled, there is absolutely such a thing as He-Man traditionalists). An old-school Orko, part of the “Masters of the Universe Classics” line. He even comes with a full-sized, fully articulated Prince Adam “accessory,” sweetening the $25 price tag. Also he changes color.

Mo-Larr vs. Skeletor
Let’s get this one out up front. Yep, it’s Skeletor, and he’s at the dentist. It’s inspired by a Robot Chicken bit, with Mattel’s press materials calling the two-pack the “first ever [Masters of the Universe] figures featured in a Robot Chicken sketch,” implying that there might be more figures from Robot Chicken sketches in the future. Even if you’re not a fan of the Adult Swim show, consider this your long-awaited opportunity to own a really nice figure of Skeletor missing a tooth. (Plus, it’s reminiscent of this awesome painting.) The He-Man exclusives are always great, and go quickly, so this should be an interesting test to determine the drawing power of an Eternian dentist. ($50)

DC Universe Classics: Plastic Man with Suitcase
The cool thing about con exclusives is that companies can really go nuts with the packaging and accessories. Case in point: this Plastic Man comes with all sorts of extra limbs and appendages — plus the glasses there on the packaging can actually be removed and worn, thus doubling as a way to spot the coolest dudes walking the exhibit hall! ($20)

Hot Wheels: Wonder Woman Jet
Apparently, this exclusive originated as an April Fool’s joke on the Hot Wheels Facebook group (those Hot Wheels Facebook jokesters!). Though given recent changes to Wonder Woman’s continuity placing her as growing up in urban America since early childhood, it should probably now be an invisible Jetta. ($5)
DC Universe 75th Anniversary Pack: Starro with Pack of Spores
GFEST CON FAVORITE: the original Justice League, in 3 and 3/4-inch scale, tackling Starro just as they did in their first appearance back in Brave and the Bold #28. The box also includes “lights and sounds,” plus Starro is bendy (bendy Starro!), making this a wholly appealing product. It’s good there’s no pandemic threat like SARS or swine flu this summer, or the bonus “pack of spores” might scare folks off. ($50)

Polly Pocket Dressed for Justice
As the loyal legion of Polly Pocket fans reading this blog have no doubt already surmised, that’s Polly Pocket and her pals Lea and Lila dressed as, respectively, Supergirl, Batgirl and what unearthed, carbon-dated artifacts have suggested might be a primitive version of the Wonder Woman costume. ($20)

Also available: a Mego-style talking Real Ghostbusters Venkman, a Hot Wheels Ecto-1, a 3 and 3/4-inch Lotso from Toy Story 3 and a Cars “Tokyo Mater;” all 20 bucks.

NEW DC Variant Covers

DC Comics recently released a slew of variant covers for some upcoming books.    Here are the variants to GREEN LANTERN #56 by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #47 by Alex Garner, GREEN LANTERN CORPS #50 by Patrick Gleason and a double-shot of JUSTICE LEAGUE: GENERATION LOST #6, with covers by Cliff Chiang and Kevin Maguire.

Kirby: Genesis is coming! Dynamite presents Alex Ross, and he’s bringing a friend! Stay tuned for full announcement coming soon!

I personally love the Donkey Kong and Legend of Zelda posters but all the artwork is funny and creative.

Inside a Nursing Home for Superheroes

You can be a kick-ass superhero but you have to know that nothing lasts forever and even superheroes get old one day. Putting a superhero into a regular nursing home with other ‘ordinary’ people is not a good idea so someone got an idea to create a nursing home for superheroes.

Here you can see a few of realistic sculptures about how the life of aged superhero could look like if there was such nursing home. It seems that the Catwoman is, unlike the others, still in perfect shape. Superman’s hair is not so black and shiny anymore and, as you can see, he barely can move.

30 New Episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head Coming to MTV

Beavis and Butt-Head are coming back.  According to REVIEWniverse, Mike Judge, the creator of Beavis and Butt-Head is looking to have his dynamic duo make a comeback and is currently outlining 30 brand new episodes of the series.

The show, as if you don't remember, follows two stupid, obnoxious and rude high school kids living together in the fictional town of Highland. The two get themselves into plenty of trouble and strange social situations at school, out-of-school, working their dead-end job at Burger World and just messing around in their neighborhood. In addition to their antics outside of their house, Beavis and Butt-Head would also partake in some Mystery Science Theater 3000-style criticism of various rock/heavy metal music videos from the likes of Black Sabbath, Metallica, and many more.

Mike Judge is currently developing the new episodes with the intention that they return to MTV where it all started. However, it’s important to note that there is currently no official deal in place with MTV, so the episodes may end up finding a new home. And the good news is, fans of the original series won’t have to worry about any unfamiliar updates to the animation style or show formula as Judge is not only sticking to the show’s traditional “ghetto-tech aesthetic,” but it will also feature Beavis and Butt-Head mocking contemporary music video clips between the various sketches.

Brightest Day #5 Variant Cover & Preview

Another issue of Brightest Day hits the shelves tomorrow.  Below you will find a preview of the issue.  I have to be honest anything that includes the Hawks and Aquaman bores the living daylights out me so I am less than thrilled with a Hawk & Aquaman focused story. I guess that is why I am less than thrilled with this story as a whole.

Synopsis:  The mysteries deepen! What secret is Mera hiding? Where have Hawkman and Hawkgirl disappeared to? And what annoys Hawk the most about Deadman? Find out in this issue as we march closer towards the turning point of issue #7 as Hawk and Dove join the mission to uncover the truth behind their returns and what it means to the rest of the DCU! Here are a few pages from Brightest Day #5, all courtesy of the stellar team of Johns, Tomasi and the comic industry’s greatest artists.

Why Lindsay Lohan Deserved What She Got and Then Some

Lindsay Lohan had a special message for the court on Tuesday, and she painted it on her fingernail. The eagle eyes at WWTDD noticed that on Lohan's middle finger, often held to her lips, was the message "Fuck U."

She was sentenced to 90 days in jail at the probation violation hearing. In addition bursting into tears, Lohan covered her face at one point with the paper she took notes on. That's below the finger photo, rotated so you can read her list of excuses and explanations.

George Lucas Does Not Want You to Have REAL Lightsabers

A while back, Gfest reported on The Spyder III, is the world's most powerful portable laser.  We also pointed out that it looks an awful lot like a real life lightsaber.

Well, clearly George Lucas is a regular reader of Gfest, and he agreed with our take.  In fact, he agreed so much that he is now sent a cease-and-desist letter to Hong Kong-based Wicked Lasers, threatening legal action if it doesn't change its Laser series or stop selling it altogether.

So we apologize to Wicked Lasers.  George Lucas has turned into a dick as of late.  First he ruined Star Wars, then he ruined Indiana Jones.  Now unfortunately, he's coming after you.
