Private Rooftop Invitational: Martian Manhunter by Paul Milligan

More than a year ago, Dean Trippe began contacting some frequent art contributors for a special project: the first ever Project: Rooftop Invitational, a massive jam redesign of a superhero team. This being his first try at anything like this, it took a while to select and confirm the artist roster, as well as their individual choices of team members to redesign from the chosen super-team, the Justice League of America!

Paul Milligan designed this his version of Martian Manhunter for Project Rooftop.  It's awesome.

NEW AVATAR 2 Details (James Cameron Looks To Go 7 Miles Underwater For Avatar 2 )

James Cameron is looking to go where no director has gone before (click here to read about the only two people to ever do it) in order to get footage for Avatar 2. Cameron looks to go to the bottom of the sea, seven miles below sea level, to shoot sequences at the bottom of the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench east of the Philippines. This is the deepest point in the world's oceans, and only two other people have gone there: explorers Jacques Piccard and Don Walsh.
Cameron has commissioned a bespoke submarine, built of high-tech, man-made composite materials and powered by electric motors, which will be capable of surviving the tremendous pressures at a depth of seven miles. He will go there in the sub to shoot 3D footage to be incorporated into Avatar 2. Cameron plans for Avatar 2 to explore the oceans and exotic sea life of the alien world Pandora. The design of the submarine that he will need is not completely clear, but it will likely resemble the $4 million Deep Flight Challenger commissioned by the late American aviator and explorer Steve Fossett in 2007.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse NEW Animated Clip & Images

Batman/Superman: Public Enemies was one of the best DC animated films to date and Gfest expects the follow-up animated movie Superman/Batman: Apocalypse to be even better. Batman, Superman, Supergirl and my all-time favorite Darksied - It don't get any better.

I was so excited that Warner Home Video released these images and a sneak peek from the upcoming Superman/Batman: Apocalypse animated movie. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy for Darkseid!

In Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, a spaceship splashes down in Gotham City Harbor — leading Batman and Superman to encounter a mysterious Kryptonian with powers as great as those of the Man of Steel. The Kryptonian is soon revealed to be Kara, cousin of Superman, who takes her under his wing to educate her about the ways of Earth. However, the villainous Darkseid has other plans. Seeing an opportunity to finally defeat Superman, Darkseid abducts and gains control of Kara, utilizing the powerful Kryptonian to do his bidding. It’s up to Batman and Superman to save Kara, but they’ll have to take the fight to Darkseid within his hostile world – where unknown, deadly threats lurk around every corner, including a brainwashed Kryptonian able to match Superman blow-for-blow.
Fan favorites Tim Daly (Private Practice) and Kevin Conroy (China Beach) return to their seminal roles as Superman and Batman, respectively. The celebrity-laden guest cast is headed by Andre Braugher (Men of a Certain Age) as the daunting Darkseid. Sci-Fi heroine Summer Glau (Serenity/Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) provides the voice of Supergirl, and seven-time Emmy Award winner Ed Asner (Up) reprises his Superman: The Animated Series/Justice League role as Granny Goodness.

Cover to the Larfleeze CHRISTMAS SPECIAL Comic is Revealed

Move over Grinch, it's time to see How the Larfleeze Stole Christmas.

DC Comics announced that in December, Orange Lantern Larfleeze will get his very own Christmas special one shot comic book.   Larfleeze, who easily has gfest's vote as the best new character introduced in comic books recently has his hopes set on everything Christmas-related, including Santa Claus. And nothing, not even the heroes that populate the DCU are going to stand in his way.

The issue will be written by Green Lantern and Blackest Night mastermind Geoff Johns with art by Brett Booth and a sterling Gene Ha cover (seen above).

I also like that Larfleeze seems to have stolen the Rockettes from Radio City Music Hall.  Larfleeze wants a little lovin' for Christmas apparently.

DC Direct Blackest Night: Series 3: Orange Lantern Larfleeze Action Figure

FIRST LOOK: GREEN LANTERN/PLASTIC MAN: WEAPONS OF MASS DECEPTION

Plastic Man and Green Lantern one-shot.  Oh Ya!  How can you make it any better?  Add Marv Wolfman as the writer and ASTRO CITY artist Brent Anderson.

According to The Source here's the 411 on this awesome team-up issue.  "A cabal of aliens hiding in plain site on Earth, and they’re set on smuggling weapons off the planet to fuel an interplanetary conflict. Who’s around to save the day? Green Lantern. Good, right? And Plastic Man. Hm. Good luck, GL."

Anderson's cover looks great but we'll have to wait until December for the entire issue.  They say all good things come to those that wait.

Woody Found a Way to Spend His Toy Story 3 Money

Its a classic Hollywood tale.  A star makes it big, gets their first big Hollywood paycheck, and makes an irrational purchase that they will at some point regret.  Woody from Pixar's Toy Story is no different.

Is it strange that I'm slightly turned on by this picture?

New MojoWijo Turns Wii Remote into a High Tech Vibrator

Check out the Mojowijo, the new device that can be attached to the Nintendo Wii remote and can be used as a vibrator!

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!

The main appeal of this product isn't the ability to simply transform your Wii remote into a vibrator.  They've figured out how to let you control others' Wii Remote vibrators remotely.

Mojowijo transforms your Nintendo Wii remote control into a next generation body stimulation device.  The motions of one wiimote are transformed into vibrations in another wiimote. Literally allowing you to 'share the mojo' with anyone either in the same room or anywhere else in the world over the internet.
The device is attached to the accessory port on a Nintendo Wii remote control. The control is then connected to a bluetooth enabled PC running Mojowijo software. Using Mojowijo's patent pending Motion2Vibration technology, the device is able to transform the varying motions of the control into appropriate vibration signals and send them to another selected device.

They currently aren't for sale, but they are ready to start beta testing the Wiibrators soon.  Sign up HERE if you're interested in being a guinea pig.
