Iron Man 2 is certainly not lacking from promotion. I mean Robert Downey is EVERYWHERE, and we're honestly getting a little burnt out by it. But don't let that take away from the hilarity of this new series of videos that show Iron Man making some damn funny cameos in various chick flicks.

Jim Lee's Latest iPad Sketch

DC Co-Publisher Jim Lee's work on the iPad simply continues to amaze Gfest. This time he shared a sketch he made of his wife for her birthday using Sketchbook Pro, an app made specifically for Apple's new device.

Barack Obama's Peace Plan? Send In Superman & Batman

Apparently part of President Barack Obama's plan to make the Muslim world hate our country less is to intiate a cultural outreach. USA Today is reporting that Obama plan's will include a comic book series in which Superman and Batman work with their Muslim counterparts.

Sure, I can see Superman going over on a Nation Building excercise at the request of the President of the United States. Superman always does what the President asks. But Batman? On a peace mission?

I'm sorry Mr. President, but Batman does not do peace missions. Batman kicks ass. I thought we finally had a President that knew his Superheroes?

Also, I assume Obama didn't invite Robin (TheTim Drake Robin not the new punk imposter) because Chuck Dixon, the writer most associated with Tim, has always said Tim was Jewish in his mind. Not very open minded Mr. President.

Batman Arkham Aslyum II - Coin Flip Anyone?

While details are still unknown, a sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum was disclosed at the VGA awards, while Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy revealed at the Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo that Two-Face is part of the villain lineup.

In Batman: Arkham Asylum, the Dark Knight takes on his greatest challenge yet when he becomes trapped with all of his most dangerous villains inside the insane asylum of Gotham City - Arkham Asylum!

As you know by our post last week about Rogan Josh, the crew at Gfest loves comic art. We are especially drawn (no pun intended) to original comic art that takes on an vibe of its own.

Happily we stumbled upon the vintage comic art of Michael Myers. His artwork captures the characters we love to see and read each month in a different perspective. Simply put - These prints are down right cool!

Mazel Tov! - Jewish People Cleared to Buy the iPad

The Jewish People of the World may now safely use their iPad.

For two weeks, Israeli officials banned the iPad from entering Israel, fearing the device would interfere with other wireless devices. They also feared the iPad's potential to disrupt military frequencies. Having said that, no other European country had banned the iPad.

However, after testing with Apple and independent labs, the iPad was found able to be safe.

Pianist Makes Music with iPad at Symphony Concert

There seems to be no shortage of real life people, at the top of there respective fields, jumping on baord with the iPad. The latest is piano master Lang Lang performed a surprising, offbeat encore at a concert in San Francisco: the pianist played Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumblebee" on the iPad.

Lang Lang used the iPad app Magic Piano, from Smule, to "play" his tablet.

Ge Wang, the co-founder of Smule, told the Wall Street Journal, "I've never seen the freestyle Magic Piano played like he [Lang Lang] did." Wang added that he believes the Chinese pianist "totally digs Magic Piano and the iPad."

Well it's time to say hello to Brittany Wagoner, who originally hails from Laughlin, NV, but moved to Denver at the age of 19.

Shortly lafter landing on Omaha Beach in Normandy, Jack Kirby's commanding officer in the US Army discovered that King Kirby could draw, so he started sending Jack out alone at night to scout the terrain and draw maps of enemy territory. Kirby readily volunteered to sneak behind enemy lines armed with his most dangerous weapon - a pencil and paper that he used to draw maps and pictures.

And that's only one of the reasons that Gfest's friends over at Ty Templeton's Art Land named Jack Kirby one of the Top Comic Creators Who Can Kick Your Ass. Check on Ty's site for the rest of toughest comic book creators in the business.

It's a well done list and a funny read.

Could Batman Win a Tony Award?

Loyal citizens of Gfest, does it get any better than the possibility that a Batman stage show soon might be swooping to a town near you?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. and DC Comics are in the early stages of developing a tour, tentatively titled "Batman Live" and starring the Caped Crusader, working with Nick Grace Management and Water Lane Prods., companies behind the popular "Walking With Dinosaurs" and "Mamma Mia!" touring shows.

Spinning out of the pages of Blackest Night, Barack Obama joins the Blue Lantern Corps.

In gfest's mind, this is much cooler than the ridiculously popular Obama - Spiderman team up.

Expect Dick Cheney to join the Red Lantern Corps soon.

Two Men Perform "Blue Light Special" on Each Other in Kmart Bathroom

Two men were arrested last week after a Kmart manager heard moaning sounds coming from the restroom, police said.

The men were charged with disorderly conduct and later released following the Tuesday incident.

A loss prevention manager at the Buford store called police after hearing moaning in the men's restroom, according to the police report. The employee told police the two men were engaging in a sexual act in the stall, the reports states.

They told police they did not know each other and denied the incident, according to police. One man had gloves, condoms and lotion in his front right pocket, the report states.

In March, three men were arrested at the same Kmart for allegedly soliciting sex. In that case, an undercover officer arranged to meet a suspect in the restroom of the store.
