Electronic Arts has revealed a slew of new details and images for the new “Pro” instruments that will be available for use in the upcoming Rock Band 3.
First up, there’s the all-new Pro Guitar, which features 17 frets worth of buttons and six strings in place of the traditional plastic flipper used for strumming. Basically, it’s about as close as you can get to a real guitar without being a real guitar. The other major new addition is the mini keyboard which will allow you and your friends to perform endless renditions of Piano Man Simple. The keyboard also includes an adapter that will let you use the keyboard outside of the game on a computer with appropriate software.
