New Trailer for Batman: Under the Red Hood Released

My excitement for the Red Hood movie just went down a little bit, maybe even a lot, but I'm trying not to overreact.  Yet it's hard not too.  Because at first blush, this is one of the worst Batman voices I've ever heard.

Can't we just give this role to Kevin Conroy until he dies?  Walt Disney was ALWAYS the voice of Mickey Mouse.  Jim Henson was ALWAYS the voice of Kermit the Frog.  Kevin Conroy should ALWAYS be the animated voice of Batman.

In the new film, Batman faces off against three of his most terrible foes.  The Joker, Ra's al Ghul, and the Black Mask.  But Batman is being stalked by a new vigilante: the Red Hood. A man who knows every one of Batman's secrets.

  1. I second that! Kevin Conroy should always be Batman's voice! I mean, I even think he should dub the actors.

  2. If that's what you're used to, that's what seems normal to you. I like Conroy in the role, too, but hell, I grew up with Olan Soule as the voice of animated Batman for the better part of a decade (except for that bit where Adam West took over in the 80's).

There's more to animated Batman than the voice. Unless they hire Screech to do it, it's less important than the quality of the writing and animation.
