Custom Made Blue Lantern Warth the Elephant Action Figure

Warth is from Sector 2 and was the second person to be initiated into the Blue Lantern Corps. He's also an elephant, which is awesome.

Each Blue Lantern is chosen by the Blue Lantern of the previous sector and brought to the founders of the Blue Lantern Corps, Ganthet and Sayd, to be evaluated.

Ganthet and Sayd, former Guardians of the Universe, teach the new recruit the ways of the corps and judge whether that person is worthy of becoming a member of their Corps.

Warth was brought to Odym, home planet of the Blue Lantern Corps, by its first member, Saint Bro'Dee Walker of Sector 0001.

New Sensations to Release Second X Files Porn Parody

"The Sex Files" one of the original porn parodies is cuming back for another shot.  The folks at New Sensations are hard at work filming it right now.


Photographer Jeff Koga managed to spend some time on set with the cast of "The Sex Files 2"—and brought back pictures to prove it. He also reports that Scully's shower sex scene with Mulder involves (SPOILER ALERT) a bit of anal play.

Gorgeous Cover to Superman #702 Has Iconic Feeling

Gfest is a huge fan of truly iconic covers, and this one certainly fits the bill. 

Superman #702 will see the Man of Steel enter a small town in Ohio where a number of its residents are from other places.

But when he discovers that there are also a number of residents secretly from other worlds, he unravels a mystery that may have grave consequences for Earth.

We've been pretty dissapointed by the direction of the Superman books in the last year, but we'd buy this issue for the cover alone.

Rachel Uchitel (aka Tiger's Sexy Whore) is Posing for Playboy

Rachel Uchitel, the mistress with wonderfully big  breasts, who was paid a reported $10 million dollars to conceal news of their affair, has found a new way to make some extra cash – by posing for Playboy!

New DC 75th Variant Cover for BATMAN #700

As most of you Gfest readers know, 2010 marks the 75th anniversary of DC Comics.

So, as part of a line-wide celebration of DC Comics’ 75th, they will be rolling out a number of special variant covers by some of the biggest names in the industry.  But these aren’t standard variants. No, these covers will take a classic image from DC’s illustrious history and present a new, re-imagined version by an all-star list of artists.

The first release is a recreation of Detective Comics #168, originally drawn by Lew Sayre Schwartz.  The cover of the issue went down in history as one of the most iconic covers of the Golden Age.
 
Hellboy creator Mike Mignola would does a beautiful recreation of Schwartz's work for DC 75th variant for Batman #700.

NBC Cancels Heroes - Time Travel on TV Fails Again

It's official: "Heroes" has finally been put out of its misery. NBC announced that they are canceling the superhero drama, whose ratings dropped from an average of 14.5 million viewers in its first season to mere 4.4 million during its last airing on February 8th.


Entertainment Weekly called the news "shocking" which makes me question why I would ever read that magazine again.  Well, to be fair, I was shocked by the news.  I was shocked to learn the show hadn't already been cancelled. 

Batman: Arkham Asylum Action Figure Photos Leaked

The first images of the recently-revealed Batman: Arkham Asylum action figures have been leaked online, and they look extremely faithful to the source material.


Five figures will be available in the first wave.  They are Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Scarecrow and, surprisingly, Scarface.

TV News Anchor asks Female Anchor About Enjoying Penis On Air

ABC New Orleans news anchor Michael Hill apparently missed the "when to talk about penis while on air" training class offered to local TV news anchors. 

Local news anchor ad-libs are almost always awkward at best, but Michael took it to a new level of awkward when discussing a story about a new procedure that uses Juvederm to enhance a woman’s G-spot.  The procedure creates more fullness to the G spot so you can have a more intense and deeper orgasm.

Dark Knight Meets Toy Story 2 in this Brilliant Mashup Trailer

Gfest finds trailer mashups to generally be dissapointing.  This one, which mixes footage of Toy Story 2 with the audio of the trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT, is extremelly well done.

Where this one succeeds is in the "casting" department.  Woody is the Joker, Buzz Lightyear is Batman, and T-Rex is Alfred.  It will all just seems so natural once you watch it below.

Thor Arrested in Illinois for Failing to Register as Sexual Predator

In somewhat shocking news a local newspaper in suburban Chicago is reporting that Thor has previous convictions in Illinois of public indecency and exposing himself in public multiple times during the past several years.

State police confirmed Thor was re-arrested April 19 on charges stemming from his failure to adhere to the guidelines of the Sex Offender Registration Act. Thor was being held as of Tuesday in the Winnebago County Jail on $7,530 cash bail, according to a jail spokesman.

Seems like typical behavior from yet another God who has chosen to blatantly ignore the laws of human society.

Batman Beyond #3 returns with Batman’s investigation into the murders of Dark Knight villains past and present leads him to old associates of Bruce Wayne…some of whom aren’t so happy to see him. While the mysterious killer picks his next target, the rift between Terry and Bruce widens.

Dustin Nguyen's covers continue to be awesome for this series.  Gfest loves Batman Beyond and as we have said before we are very excited for this mini-series.

New Frank Quietly Batman & Robin #15 Cover

In the final chapter of “Batman Must Die,” all is lost and everything has gone to pieces! Is Dick Grayson alive? Will Damian make a pact with the devil? And what will happen after the final confrontation with Dr. Hurt?

Gfest has a love hate relationship with Grant Morrision.  He's the Brian Michael Bendis of DC Comics. Just when you're ready to give up on him, he will knock a story out of the park.

We hate the false Batman and Robin - Dick Grayson and Damien Wayne.  The only interesting part of this story has been the search for the real Batman, Bruce Wayne. Let's hope Grant gets a big hit to finish off this story arch.

New Tony Harris Justice League Generations Lost #8 Cover

Gfest was thrilled with issue #1 of Justice League Generations Lost.  And we like this glimpse into the future of the series just released by DC Comics.

Tony Harris does a wonderful job on the Justice League Generations Lost #8 cover.  It's well done and beautiful.  Gfest is very happy to have Maxwell Lord back. He is such a great villain! The very early stages of this book has Gfest very excited.

New stills have emerged from the upcoming comic-book adaptation of Jonah Hex, featuring Fox in the role of prostitute Leila, who serves as the love interest of the titular scarred bounty hunter.
