Weekend Box Office Report - Team Edward Wins & Spiderman Safe

Overweight middle aged women came like cows to the slaughter and propelled Team Edward and Team Jacob to the number one spot this weeekend. Eclipse, the third chapter in the Twilight Saga grossed an estimated $161 million over it's first five days.  However, Eclipse will not break Spiderman 2's all-time Fourth of July record.

The movie everyone seemed to hate The Last Airbender was in second place grossing a respectable $65 million over it's first five days.  Below are the estimated weekend top ten (source: Collider & picture: OMGsoysauce):
