First Pictures of Hector Hammond from Green Lantern Movie Set

Sky Showbiz has posted the first spy image of Peter Sarsgaard’s Hector Hammond in Ryan Reynold's Green Lantern Movie, which is set to release in 2011.


Hector Hammond's character is a very ambitious scientist (some would even say a "mad" scientist) that after coming in contact with a strange meteor from Green Lantern Abin Sur's space ship that crashed on Earth begins to develop some side effects. These side effects include massive physic abilities and his head grows increasingly larger.

In the image you can see this is what his head will look like later in the film as the side effects begin taking hold of him.  Gfest for one thinks that's a really cool version of Hector.
