GFEST View: As a HUGE fan of Bone, I picked up the first volume of Rasl. I waited for the first trade knowing that the single issues were coming out on an irregular basis. While it takes a little bit of commitment to become engaged in the plot and begin to understand the premise, I found by the end of Volume one, I was excited to pick up Volume two.

GFEST View: We admit it! We're suckers. We know better than to waste $3.99 on this issue, but just like priests alone with alter boys we cannot help ourselves. Plus, Geoff Johns said at c2e2 this weekend that he would reveal a Deputy Lantern pick that didn't make the cut in this issue.

You know this issue has to be awful to put the Brightest Day tie-in out there already. Buy if you wish buy it, but don't say your friends at Gfest didn't warn you.

Gfest View: I'll say it! I like Superman Batman. I know some runs have been better than the other. This one being on the wrong side of better, but we all have our vices.

Arrayed against them, thousands of soldiers and slow mutants armed with the most horrific selection of weapons that the Good Man, John Farson could provide them.

really excited about #53, and couldn't agree more with the Blackest Night Director's cut... nevertheless, they will be getting my money anyway, no use even fighting it.
