ROBOT CHICKEN: STAR WARS #3 Dec 12 Premier Date

After finding success with prior Star Wars spoofs in 2007 and 2008 (including four Emmy nominations), Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich are heading back to the well for Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III.  The new special — set to air December 12th on Adult Swim — will feature a slew of voices new to the specials, most notably Zac Efron as Anakin Skywalker.  In terms of Star Wars personnel, Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) will join prior Robot collaborators Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) and Amed Best (Jar Jar Binks).  Donald Glover (Community) and Mike Henry (Family Guy) will likewise make their RC:SW debuts.

Who Wants Their Own Robot Chicken?

Gfest does.  We've been big fans of Robot Chicken since it's inception.  Who could forget the superhero big brother/real world sketch.  A classic!

Geek Chic Daily exclusively unveiled the new Robot Chicken action figure coming our way very soon from toymaker Jazwares. It’s part of the first wave of toys from the Adult Swim hit, a wave which will also include smaller-scaled figures of the Mad Scientist with the Chicken, the Humping Robot (packaged with a humpable washing machine), the Candy Bear caught in a bear trap and the first available figure, a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive of the show’s signature Nerd character.

Seth Green's New Star Wars Comedy Series to be Done in CG

At the MTV Movie Awards, Seth Green was able to reveal two pretty significant details about his new Star Wars themed TV show:

1. It will be done in CG animation, which gfest is completely on board with.

2. It will be set within the timeline of the current films. 


That's not a whole lot of breaking news, but its pretty good for a quick red carpet interview.
