FIRST Trailer for AMC's THE WALKING DEAD

AMC has revealed the trailer for its new series, "The Walking Dead," which premieres with a 90-minute episode on Halloween night, Sunday, October 31, at 10/9c. "The Walking Dead is a six-episode series based on the comic book written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics.

"The Walking Dead" tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), traveling in search of a safe and secure home. Jon Bernthal plays Shane, who worked with Rick in the police department before the zombie disaster. Other cast includes Laurie Holden, who plays Andrea, one of two sisters who join the survivors of the zombie plague, Steven Yeun as Glenn, an expert scavenger and Sarah Wayne Callies, who plays Rick's wife Lori.

AMC has unveiled even more images from The Walking Dead, hitting television this October. And once again, we're getting takes of Rick (Andrew Lincoln) Grimes' dangerous trip into Atlanta, where the dead walk.

Today we get a picture of a whole lot of Zombies and damn if they don't look real good.

AMC today has released the first production photo of lead actor Andrew Lincoln portraying police officer Rick Grimes in AMC's adaptation of The Walking Dead.

Says Robert Kirkman, creator-writer of the comic book and executive producer on the series, "Writing this book for the past seven years I've gotten very close to the character of Rick. Andrew Lincoln embodies every aspect of the character that fans know and love. After seeing this photo I don't think that there will be a doubt in anyone's mind that he's perfect for the role."
