George Lucas Unveils Return of the Jedi Deleted Scene

George Lucas personally brought to the stage of the Star Wars Celebration V event a deleted scene from Return of the Jedi.  The scene is shown below. 

In other news, Lucas FINALLY announced that all six Star Wars movies will be released together on Blu-ray in 2011 for the 35th anniversary of the release of A New Hope.  The Blu-ray versions will be the special editions of the movie, and not the original versions of the movies.

Lucas told the New York Times that he made the decision to only include the special editions, since restoring the original versions in high enough quality would cost too much.

That seems a little ridiculous to me since I'm sure the blu-ray versions will make buttloads of cash, but at least George has finally gotten with the program and jumped on the blu-ray bandwagon.
