Kevin Maguire has been doing some great work with the covers to Justice League Generation Lost, which is easily the best of the Brightest Day books that DC Comics is currently putting out. The recent linking of this story to the world of Mark Waid and Alex Ross's Kingdom Come was brilliant, inspired and gave me new hope for the overall Brightest Day storyline.
From this cover, it looks like Captain Atom will again be visiting the
nightmarish future that we first saw in Generation Lost #6. Only this time DC says that we will go 100
years from our present, and see first-hand how it got to be so messed up.
Kudos to Judd Winick and Geoff Johns for a story that has made me care about characters I have never cared for in my life.
